This workshop is for anyone interested in becoming a Doula, Birthkeeper, Midwife or Traditional birth attendant. Brought to you by Jady Mountjoy and Joy Horner, seasoned  birthkeepers with a combined  experience of working with families of over 40 years.

• Are you a midwife wishing to work in a more holistic way?
• Maybe you are new to the Birthkeeper’s path and unsure if being a doula, midwife, or birthkeeper is for you, and you want to find out more about these important roles,.
• Or perhaps you already know that your calling is to walk the path that has been trodden by wise women throughout history. Perhaps you are already a Birthworker and want to find you way back to an authentic way of serving clients, or to remember your why.

Whatever your reason we welcome you with open arm and hearts.

In this Workshop you will discover the skills and qualities needed to become a Birthkeeper, and what families require during Pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. Together we will explore the different ways to serve families as a Birthworker, and help you clarify which path is for you.

On the Birthkeeper’s Path pregnancy, birth and parenthood are honoured as sacred rites of passage, and the need to respect these important thresholds is safely held. This is important work which requires dedication, so finding the correct path is paramount.

We will also share with you a little about our Birthkeeper’s Path 10 Moons Course due to start in February 2025!

This will be an informative, nourishing and interactive day fillled with opportunities for embodied practice, practical skills and birth art. So come, bring your questions, your hopes and dreams, and let us light your way on the Birthkeeper’s Path!
